In recent days, the world has been shaken by an act of sheer evil against the people of Israel. Israel was attacked by the terrorist organization Hamas, whose stated purpose for being is to kill the Jewish people. Over 1,000 civilians were slaughtered and assaulted in ways too terrible to describe here. Hundreds of young people were massacred while attending a musical festival to celebrate peace, including dozens of people around the world from the United States, Germany, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Australia, France, and more. In Israeli towns and villages, entire families were wiped out. Parents were killed while trying to protect their children. Babies and children were murdered. Thousands more people were injured and remain in critical condition. Many people, including babies, children, elderly, women, and men were taken hostage by Hamas. Their families are left devastated and unsure of the fate or safety of their loved ones. Alongside the people of Israel, the Palestinian
